Covenant International Ministries

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://covenantinternationalministries.org/ and any related forms, content, communications, donation pages, and online services operated by Covenant International Ministries ("CIM," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.

SMS Messaging Terms and Compliance

1. Program Description

Covenant International Ministries may offer an SMS messaging program to individuals who expressly choose to receive text messages from us.

Messages may include:

  • Ministry and outreach updates
  • Event announcements and reminders
  • Volunteer coordination
  • Prayer-request follow-ups
  • Donation-related notifications
  • Requested support communications
  • Other ministry communications for which you have provided consent

SMS consent may be collected through website forms, registration forms, written agreements, keywords, or other approved opt-in methods. When a website form is used, SMS consent will be requested separately through a clear consent statement or checkbox.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in, you authorize Covenant International Ministries to send text messages to that number using manual or automated messaging technology.

Your consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of making a donation, participating in a ministry activity, submitting a prayer request, receiving assistance, or obtaining any other ministry service.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the telephone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.

3. Cancellation and Opt-Out Instructions

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to the number that sent you the message.

After you send STOP, we may send one final confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional SMS messages from us unless you later provide consent again.

We will also honor other reasonable requests to revoke consent. To rejoin the messaging program, you may opt in again through the same or another approved sign-up method.

4. Support Information

If you need assistance with the SMS program, reply HELP or contact us:

Email: info@covenantinternationalministries.org Phone: (314) 775-1752

5. Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with Covenant International Ministries and the types of communications you requested.

Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you and messages you send to us. Contact your wireless carrier for information concerning your text-messaging or data plan.

6. Delivery and Carrier Responsibility

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed, incomplete, or undelivered messages.

Message delivery is subject to the availability and operation of wireless networks and messaging providers. SMS service may not be available through every carrier, device, or geographic location.

7. Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to enroll independently in our SMS messaging program.

Anyone under 18 may participate only with the knowledge and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 may not enroll in the program or submit personal information without appropriate parental or guardian involvement.

8. Mobile Information and Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be shared with subcontractors solely to provide support services, such as customer service, messaging-platform administration, or SMS delivery. All other information-sharing categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties.

For additional information about how we collect, use, and protect personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.

9. Messaging Compliance

Covenant International Ministries intends to operate its messaging program in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applicable wireless-industry messaging standards.

You may access and use the website for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology
  • Interfere with the website's operation, security, or availability

  • Use the website in a manner that infringes another person's rights

3. Donations

Donations to Covenant International Ministries are voluntary and may be processed through Donorbox or another authorized third-party payment processor.

When making a donation, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Use a payment method you are authorized to use
  • Comply with the payment processor's applicable terms and policies
  • Notify us promptly if you believe a donation was made in error or without authorization

Payment processors may collect and process your financial information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Covenant International Ministries does not generally receive or store complete payment-card or bank-account information.

Unless otherwise required by law, donations are generally considered final. If you believe a donation was submitted in error, please contact us promptly. Refund requests will be reviewed according to applicable law, ministry policies, available funds, and the terms of the payment processor.

Covenant International Ministries does not guarantee that every contribution will qualify as a tax-deductible donation. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances. Any acknowledgment or receipt provided by CIM is not tax or legal advice.

When a donation is designated for a particular ministry activity, CIM will make reasonable efforts to honor that designation. However, unless legally restricted, CIM retains discretion and control over donated funds so they may be used where ministry needs are greatest or when the original purpose is completed, fully funded, delayed, or no longer practicable.

4. Prayer Requests

Our website may allow you to submit prayer intentions or prayer requests. Prayer requests are voluntarily submitted and may be reviewed by designated ministry leaders.

Please do not submit private information about another person unless you have permission to do so. You should include only information that you are comfortable sharing with the ministry representatives responsible for receiving and responding to prayer requests.

Submitting a prayer request does not establish a professional counseling, medical, legal, fiduciary, or confidential clergy relationship unless separately agreed to in writing.

The prayer-request form is not an emergency service. If you or another person is experiencing an emergency, is in immediate danger, or requires urgent medical or mental-health assistance, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional in your location.

5. Ministry and Educational Content

Sermons, devotionals, articles, teachings, testimonies, videos, and other faith-based materials on the website are provided for spiritual encouragement and general ministry purposes.

Such content is not intended to replace professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other specialized advice. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding matters requiring professional assistance.

We do not guarantee any particular personal, spiritual, financial, medical, or other outcome from viewing our content, submitting a prayer request, making a donation, or participating in a ministry activity.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content—including text, sermons, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, designs, downloads, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Covenant International Ministries and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, and nontransferable license to access and use the website for personal, lawful, and noncommercial purposes.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce, republish, sell, or commercially exploit website content
  • Modify or create derivative works from our materials
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices
  • Use our name, logo, photographs, or branding in a manner suggesting endorsement or affiliation
  • Upload or redistribute substantial portions of sermons, videos, or other protected materials

You may share links to publicly available pages and brief quotations for noncommercial purposes when Covenant International Ministries is appropriately credited.

7. Materials You Submit

You represent that any comments, photographs, videos, testimonies, stories, or other materials you submit are either owned by you or submitted with the necessary permission.

Private Submissions

Submitting a prayer request, contact inquiry, or other private communication gives CIM only the limited permission necessary to receive, store, review, and respond to that submission. It does not automatically give CIM permission to publish the submission or use it for publicity.

Materials Submitted for Publication

If you intentionally provide content for publication, promotion, a testimony, a ministry update, or social-media use, and authorize us to use it, you grant Covenant International Ministries a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce, edit, display, distribute, and publish that material for legitimate ministry and promotional purposes.

We will obtain appropriate permission before publicly identifying an individual in connection with sensitive personal information or a private prayer request.

8. Photographs and Recordings at Ministry Activities

Covenant International Ministries may take photographs, video recordings, or audio recordings during certain public events, outreach programs, worship services, or ministry activities.

Where reasonably practicable, notices or consent procedures may be provided at the activity. Additional permission should be obtained before prominently featuring an identifiable minor or using an individual's image in a testimonial, fundraising campaign, or other sensitive context.

If you have concerns about an image or recording published by CIM, contact us so we can review the matter.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services, including Donorbox, Facebook, YouTube, and ministry-partner websites.

These services are independently operated and have their own terms, policies, and practices. We do not control and are not responsible for:

  • Third-party content or availability
  • Third-party privacy or security practices
  • Transactions conducted through third-party platforms
  • Statements made by unaffiliated organizations
  • Losses or damages arising from the use of third-party services

A link does not necessarily mean that Covenant International Ministries endorses every statement, service, or activity offered by the third party.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Covenant International Ministries makes no express or implied warranties concerning the website's accuracy, completeness, availability, security, reliability, or suitability for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Covenant International Ministries and its directors, officers, employees, ministry leaders, volunteers, agents, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your access to or use of the website
  • Your inability to access or use the website
  • Reliance on website or ministry content
  • Third-party websites, platforms, or services
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your communications
  • Participation in an online ministry activity

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Covenant International Ministries and its directors, officers, employees, ministry leaders, volunteers, agents, and representatives from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the website
  • Your material violation of these Terms
  • Content you submit without the necessary ownership or permission
  • Your infringement of another person's rights

This provision does not require you to indemnify CIM for conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be required.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to all or part of the website when we reasonably believe a person has:

  • Violated these Terms
  • Engaged in unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity
  • Threatened the security or operation of the website
  • Misused our forms, messaging systems, or ministry content

We may take these actions without prior notice when reasonably necessary to protect CIM, its systems, or other individuals.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you and Covenant International Ministries agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally by providing written notice and allowing a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to an appropriate state or federal court located in Missouri. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our ministry, website, services, messaging program, or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will remain in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and Covenant International Ministries regarding your use of the website, except where separate written terms apply to a particular event, donation, program, or service.
