Bringing Hope and Healing to Malasiqui: Reflecting on the 2024 Mission Trip

Our team just returned from an incredible mission trip to Malasiqui, Pangasinan, Philippines! We are overflowing with gratitude for the opportunity to serve this beautiful community and witness God's work firsthand. This journey was more than just a trip; it was a testament to the power of love, connection, and the unwavering human spirit.

Building Bridges, One Child at a Time:

A primary focus of our trip was connecting with the children of Malasiqui. The energy and joy they radiated were contagious, reminding us of the simple beauty in childhood. We hosted various activities, games, and even had a special presentation on hygiene and healthy habits. Watching their faces light up with laughter during a simple game of tag or seeing them proudly display their hand-painted creations brought immense joy to our hearts. Beyond the activities, it was the individual interactions that truly resonated. Simple conversations, shared smiles, and genuine hugs fostered a sense of belonging and let these children know they are loved and valued.

Empowering the Community through Service:

Our commitment to Malasiqui went beyond interaction. We recognized the importance of tangible support and collaborated with local community leaders to identify key areas of need. Throughout the trip, our team was involved in various service projects, including painting a local school classroom, distributing essential supplies, and even helping with minor repairs in some homes. It was a true collaborative effort, and the sense of unity and shared purpose was palpable. Witnessing the community come together to work alongside us, each person contributing their skills and time, was a powerful demonstration of resilience and collective spirit.
